Vending Burglars Strike Marshall County, Ind. Campground

Marshall County, Ind. police reported that thieves burglarized vending machines at a Bremen campground, according to WSBT-TV in South Bend, Ind.

Editor's Insight: Here is a case where electronic locks could have prevented the burglary of outdoor vending machines. Electronic locks have proven to prevent external burglary. In some cases, thieves have glued vending machine doors shut, hoping the machine owner would replace the electronic lock with a traditional one.
