Elliot's Insight: It's too soon to determine what effect the new Dr Pepper Snapple organization will have on the vending industry. The company partnered with USA Technologies and MasterCard to install up to 1,000 vending machines in select cities with credit and debit card readers and reported double digit sales gains. This was one of the more successful cashless vending rollouts in the country.
Hopefully, the company will continue its commitment to the vending channel. 05-09-08
